    7th grade six flags trip

Parents, the info that went home last month about our 7th Grade Music Six Flags Trip can be found below. Don't forget, the $35 deposit is due by October 31st. We are looking forward to it!

    Dear Music Parents,

We are excited to offer an exclusive performance opportunity to our 7th grade musicians at Pine Mountain Middle School. We have been selected to perform at Trills and Thrills in Marietta, GA on May 11, 2019!

This will be an excellent opportunity for our students to get off campus and perform in an awesome venue, the Marietta Performing Arts Center. But there’s more! Once they are finished performing, they will travel to Six Flags Over Georgia to enjoy the thrills of the roller coasters with their friends!

We want as many of our 7th graders to attend as possible, but we require that they exhibit good behavior (No OSS and no more than 2 days of ISS after September Break) and good grades (70 or above in all classes by March 15, 2019). We also require that the participating students participate in our annual fundraiser by selling at least 10 items OR donating $40 to the program.

At this time, we are asking for a $35 deposit to hold your child’s spot on the trip and secure transportation. Once we have an idea of how many students are attending, we will send more information about remaining balances. We are aware that several of our families have season passes and/or memberships to Six Flags, so prices will vary depending upon packages that you have. The maximum cost is $80.

The deposit is due no later than October 31, 2018. Cash, checks, and credit/debit cards are accepted.
    • Checks are to be made out to Pine Mountain Middle School.

    • Credit/debit cards payments can be made on My Payments Plus. The link can be found
on the PMMS website http://www.cobbk12.org/pinemountain/

Any questions can be directed to your child’s music teacher via e-mail.
Thanks for your support of our music program!

    Happy Friday, Everyone!

Keep a look out for your child to bring home our annual FUNDRAISER packet. Encore fundraising provides yummy pies and cheesecakes all the way from New York City! The fundraiser helps us provide school owned instruments, supplies, and supplemental instruction to our students. We are asking students who want to participate in our extra curricular music department activities to sell at least 10 items.

Please return packets and money to school NO LATER THAN September 19! We will not be able to fulfill your orders if they are turned in after this, because the order is going to be submitted during fall break.

When you are communicating to your customers, the orders should be delivered during the week of October 22.

The products will last for 6 months to a year in the FREEZER! They will come FROZEN!

Happy Selling! Thanks for supporting our music department!
